I hurt my trigger finger.

Post by Sir Henry » Fri Apr 08, 2016 8:33 pm

I was moving half man rock and smashed my trigger finger. No blood and I don't think I broke a bone but it is throbbing and twice the size it should be. I can't even use it to type.

Darn. That hurts me just thinking about it. Well, I guess you can practice shooting with your other hand. :)

Very sorry to hear this, I assume you have ice on it. No X-Ray needed?

Its on my left hand and I'm left handed but a year ago I started shooting right handed. I should have stopped working and put it on ice but I didn't. Now I'm paying for it.

Ouch. I'm sure it hurts. I took the first joint off my trigger finger a few years ago. Long story. But the worst was the next day.

At least you don't have to explain to folks that you got hurt when kicked in the nose!

You might have to learn to shoot weak side like I do now.

Here's to healing quickly!

Ouch! That was a tough day on the range. Glad for you that it wasn't worse.

I worked with a fellow who had the very same loss and when talking (using his hands for emphasis), he would jab at the air with his middle finger! It made for some very entertaining conference room meetings!
