New rifle back from Henry Repair
As I mentioned in the Introduction sub forum, I had a couple of issues with my brand new Henry .357 BBB. To my surprise it was delivered last night. A very quick turn around time considering that shipping takes eight days each way for a total of seventeen days until it was back in my hands. Henry replaced the barrel and corrected the extremely tight inner magazine tube. They had to use pliers on the knurled knob of the tube. The fix appeared to be on the outer mag tube. The small piece at the beginning of the latch opening was initially a bit too long. It was either filed or cut to shorten it a bit. They sent back the original inner mag tube.
The barrel was replaced because of a chamber defect that caused a constriction on the fired cases of one brand of factory ammo and a ring crack completely encircling another brand of factory ammo. The last round I fired caused a case separation with a resulting stuck case.
After unpacking the rifle and carefully examining it, I cycled snap caps several times through the rifle and it functioned flawlessly. Although I haven’t been out to shoot it yet, at this point I’m very pleased with Henry’s repair.

Henry will do whatever it takes to make a rifle work correctly. But then I've drank the Henry koolaid.

Thanks to all for the encouragement. I’ll let you know how things go after I get to the range (cinder pit).

Congrats to Henry on the fast turn around.

I was very pleased with Henry's service. They repaired my rifle without question after I damaged it because of my own ham handedness attempting to put on a Skinner front blade. Great company and even better staff!

While I hope I never need to use it, it's great to know that Henry stands behind their product with good service. Thanks for passing your experience along to us. Every company has a problem with a product now and then, but the quality of the company really stands out in how they handle that problem.
