Does anyone else here notice differences between different brands of 30-30 brass? I've been having trouble with Federal brass. For some reason when I size it the inside diameter of the necks are too big. When I try to seat a bullet, it just drops down onto the powder. Winchester and Remington brass I never have any trouble with.
Fortunately, I have a lot of 30-30 brass, and 2/3 of it is not Federal.

are the case wall thicknesses the same .... if the Federals have thinner walls, I could see that making a difference
