Hardwood Floors: stage two
I've been working on the house the past few weeks and having posted much. Mostly people I'm living out of boxes and don't have full access to all of the house. I'm getting more wood delivered tomorrow and next week they start in the master bedroom. It might be two weeks before I have full access to the house.
In the meantime I'll try to post but it is really difficult.

If the photos we've seen so far are anything to go by, SH, it will be worth all the hassle that you're going through now. The new floors are looking absolutely stunning.

Most of the smell is now gone and I can go into the room for long periods. I still can't put the rugs down so I'm still sleeping the spare bedroom.

That fancy coffee place you go to on the way to the range- they must have free wi-fi.Sir Henry wrote:Most of the smell is now gone and I can go into the room for long periods. I still can't put the rugs down so I'm still sleeping the spare bedroom.

I was able to contain the smell in just the master bedroom so the entire house is livable. I have a lot of windows open an inch which made my heating bill hit the roof. Today is the seventh day so even in the bedroom the smell isn't too bad now.
