Back in 1972 my first big time job !

Yes I was 18 and during the last half of my Senior year in high school I got hired on as a part time paid intern of the local cable TV station to learn the trade of TV production. My boss was this guy Bill 'The Bowman Body" Bowman. He was hired on by the Cable Channel 4 station as Program Director to put some guts into the local channel and we sure did that! He was let go from Channel 8 where the Bowman Body Horror late night TV show was created and we continued with it at Channel 4 by taping the show with various local bands at area lounge locations. I ran camera for that along with a bunch of other shows we put together plus editing and directing plus taping local high school football and basketball of two cities Colonial Heights and Petersburg....yep we followed ol' Moses Malone of Petersburg High on the way to the State Championship. For 1 1/2 years I had the time of my life and got paid too! Would love to go back and do it again if I could!

I was in high school in Richmond at the time. I loved the guy. Only Elvira would rate higher in my book. There were a "couple" of reasons she'd get the nod.
