missing ejector

Post by oneeyewillie » Fri May 30, 2025 4:48 pm

bought my 5th henry 5/29/25 but didn't get the hole rifle. the ejector was missing. i went to shoot today and the rifle wouldn't eject the shell at all tried cci lr and cci shorts the shorts was a big mistake trying to get that little bugger out was a job. tryed aguila no go. so i called henry got the answer service i tried again later. so while i waited i took gun apart that is when i found out ejector was missing. i got a call from henry and asked about sending me a replacement bolt was told they couldn't do that but they would send ejector and extractor. then asked me if i could put it together! wow parts will take 7 to 10 days the other thing i could do was mail it back to henry. i have a computer but no copy machine. i asked if they would send ups to pickup rifle they said no. any one know why they wouldn't send bolt? will call them again monday

Mark, I believe the op is talking about a rim fire rifle, whole different animal.
But, how did that bolt make it all the way down an assembly line and into a rifle without anyone noticing??
Secondly, if ALL rifles are proof fired before leaving the factory, why wasn't it discovered then??

If it were me Id send them the rifle back. Its total BS and I dont like it at all that the customer is doing the quality control. The rifle should have never left the factory. Like it or not its my honest opinion.
