Re: skinner peep
I've used the Skinner barrel mounts on quite a few guns over the years. Makes a good alternative to buckhorn sights on the older guns.

Nice sight, may I ask what you installed it on?

I have one on my .22 Golden Boy H004 and my .22 Classic Carbine H001L. They have worked well for me.

Re: skinner peep
I have the receiver mount/Patridge front post combos on my two .30-30s and my H004 Golden Boy .22. I had to go through the "trouble" of finding the right height for all 3 front posts. They all kinda look like they have a surfboard skag/shark fin sticking way up on the front of their barrels. Took a few trys and some quality time at the range to get the right front height, and Rob at Skinner was a HUGE help. It's worth it, from my point of view. These guns are more accurate than I am, fer shure. All three of mine have the same sight picture, and it makes it easy jumping from one gun to the next.
I hope it wasn't that "hard" finding the right front sight for the barrel mounts......

Re: skinner peep
I have two skinner peeps . One on my 336, and one on a single shot 22. I love um. The 336 has taken several deer while using it. They are the berries in my opinion.

Re: skinner peep
I have Skinner Peeps on all 3 of my Henry lever actions. The 45/70, 30/30 and 22 at 100 yards are typical of 3"-4" groups.
