no joke, today is opening day for a local farm to open its Strawberry Stand .... http://www.porterfarmsandnursery.com/ .... during the growing season they market they sell a variety of things they grow .... year in and year out their strawberries and tomatoes are exceptional .... at $10 a bucket they ain't cheap but they are worth every penny to us .. :D

spring has sprung .... stopped by Porter Farms this morning and picked up our first bucket of strawberries this year .... the bucket contained a half dozen of the largest ones that I've ever seen .... pictures below shows them .... I couldn't resist, have already eaten one .... I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised at both the taste and texture

they are up to $20 for a bucket of picked berries .... that's up from $18 last year .... not a complaint, to us they are worth it
