no joke, today is opening day for a local farm to open its Strawberry Stand .... http://www.porterfarmsandnursery.com/ .... during the growing season they market they sell a variety of things they grow .... year in and year out their strawberries and tomatoes are exceptional .... at $10 a bucket they ain't cheap but they are worth every penny to us ..

spring has sprung .... stopped by Porter Farms this morning and picked up our first bucket of strawberries this year .... the bucket contained a half dozen of the largest ones that I've ever seen .... pictures below shows them .... I couldn't resist, have already eaten one .... I didn't know what to expect and was pleasantly surprised at both the taste and texture

they are up to $20 for a bucket of picked berries .... that's up from $18 last year .... not a complaint, to us they are worth it
