Clever!
I can't get my pumpkins to last until Thanksgiving most times. Either the squirrels or just plain old rot gets them by then.

I had about a dozen set out and the deer ate them.

cute... bet that snowman don't melt.
You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.

I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Wow, your deer there ate them???
Around 3 miles away from my house, my Uncle and Aunt put some busted up mushy pumpkins out at the edge of their property, along with some apples. These Blacktail ate the apples, and totally ignored the pumpkins. Must be picky eaters or something...... :?

I broke them up after they chewed on them. They are hard for them to eat because they can’t bite off a chunk.

 I’m thinking that Mister Snowpunk is just fortyshooter’s next target in disguise. Poor Mister Snowpunk, the end is near.

Mr. Neutron,

The whitetail around here love pumpkins and will make them disappear quickly. But I have never offered apples at the same time as pumpkins so maybe they along with your black tails just prefer the taste of apples.

Well one of those pumpkins was mine and a bunch of others small to large a neighbor gave them to me. I saved the snowman pumpkins from range duty. Only pumpkin I had that was partially eaten was one I had revolver carved. Something had roll it over and ate out the mouth!
Will take the others down this week for target fun.
