I think someone is clueless πŸ€”
No way that is possible that I know of.
It would have to be either or, no way both.
Just MHO.

The ad originates at guns.com. It's one of their caliber classification menu options. The ad elsewhere in the description says the rifle is .45 Colt.

I have a Ruger BH convertible, it shoots both, but
you have to change out the cylinders in order to do so. ;)
I would have to agree with Mags.

Somebody goofed with this listing. I think they got carried way with so many revolver listings that are dual caliber, but have two different cylinders.

A couple of years ago there were a few on the Marlin forum that were urging Ranger Point to convert some Marlins to .45acp. To me it didn't seem like a good idea.

The 45 acp version actually dates back to the early 1900s. IIRC quite a few were produced for Wells Fargo, or a rail company working out of Cali. It allowed for quite a few more rounds in the tube.

I didn't know that, which company? Marlin? Winchester?
