Attempt to Close a Private Range

Post by GFK » Wed May 17, 2023 1:52 pm

Got this off of the Marlin's site. A town in Vermont got it's Senator, to get a bill passed, that can classify a private range as a para military training camp. The bill was signed into law, making para military training camp illegal.

This is just for informational purposes:

I doubt that it comes as a surprise that some post in this thread crossed the forum's prohibition of posting political/2A content ... the thread as authored has been retained but those post have been deleted .... should it wander out of bounds again, the entire tread will be deleted

Interesting. Did not realize that my comment crossed a line. I was just commenting on the state of current events, which I thought would be of interest to us. Nonetheless, my reason for posting initially was for awareness, not to cause some type of issue. I understanding that the main point of this forum is to share knowledge about the use of firearms. It seem the trend my impact that use. But, I can see how some may view this as a 2A discussion, which could get off track. I hoped that it would not go down that road. Apparently, it has. So, please delete this thread.

Thanks,

I don't think it was your initial post, GFK. Your post was interesting, and as far as I know, within the guidelines of forum rules.

It was a post of mine that crossed the line. I apologize for that.
