Military Trainer.

Post by Vaquero » Thu Feb 23, 2023 3:29 pm

I know most won't comment, because it's not about a Darn Henry.
This is my Romanian trainer M69, I believe it was used to simulate the Mosin Nagant.
I've had it for years, and has been a while since I last shot it. It has flip up rear sights that starts at 25 m, then a 50 m, and a 100 m. I've never shot it out to 100.
I drug it out Monday before I got the H001 out.
It has the original cleaning kit that stores it the butt stock.

I setup at 25 meters and tried the same ammo that I later used in the Henry.
Then moved back to the picnic table that is around 50 meters actually probably a hair short of that. ;)

The target on the left was me familiarizing myself again. 25 m target.

I'll comment. That M69 shoots! And shoots well. I like just about anything in .22lr. Too much fun. :)

Sure we'll comment. I'll shoot em all. I was born to shoot. I like all guns, and especially accurate ones. :D

Nice shooting old gun. Is it a bolt or semi auto?

That's some nice shooting Vaquero and also a nice looking 22rifle. Looks like you're in store for some good times ahead.

Them 1" dots don't seem to be bothering you to much. Good shooting.
