Henry Small Game Rifle 22Mag
After working for over a year trying to get my handgun to shoot accurately finally gave up and bought me the Henry Small Game Rifle in 22Mag without doing any research. After returning home was reading about problems with sights when rifle equipped with Skinner Peep sight. Was at last able to shoot it some yesterday and to my relief first two shots was about 2" low. Adjusted peep two turns and next 6 shots made a very respectable 3/4" group right in or almost in bullseye. Needless to say I am a very happy Henry owner.

Re: Henry Small Game Rifle 22Mag
I was in a LGS last Tuesday buying a set of night sights for my Glock and while piddling away the time strolled over to talk to one of the salesman. Right behind was a rack full of Henrys and I asked a few questions about them and all he said was they can't keep them in stock that they have several customers who buy several apiece a year. He asked what flavor I liked and I said 22Mag maybe in a lever action as I have a 22 Mag bolt gun. He picked up the Small Game Rifle and you might say I was smitten from the start. Nice wood, Skinner Peep, octagon barrel what's not to like about that. After having the sights installed on my Glock,I left but kept thinking about the Henry finally after a couple of days of pondering back and forth I called the store to see if they still had it which they did so I talked it over with the wife and told them to put it to the back I was on my way.
I had a Henry Single Shot 357 but was a tad too heavy for a walking around hunting rifle (leastwise for me; bad shoulder). Sold it so this is my second Henry purchase but my only Henry. It's everything I like all in one ready to use package. I only hope it last longer than I as I'm planning to run some more ammo thru it. So, now you know the rest of the story. Was apprehensive about the sights but like I said, first outing only took 2 turns and she was dialed in. Gotta love it!
I was in same LGS last Tuesday to by some night sights and the counter salesmen was opening the carton with this Henry Small Game Rifle inside. Might say I was smitten at first glance: nice wood, Skinner Peep, octagon barrel. After having sight installed on my Glock, I left but kept thinking about Henry. Not wanting to make a rash decision, I pondered for a day or so and decided I would be happier with the Henry so went back and traded
