One of the gun counter clerks at the local AF Base Exchange is a grandma in her late 50's/early 60's. She is very knowledgeable about gun stuff ( pretty sure she's a shooter herself), and I've been patronizing them for a couple years. I was in this morning to pick up some ammo and targets, and her eyes lit up and she knew what I wanted before I even asked and wanted to know how I liked the pistol I'd bought about 3 months ago (a Glock 34 MOS)! I'm not in the market for any kind of personal relationship, and she's a bit young for me anyway. Since I've been off the market for over 50 years, I'm not real sure how to handle this. I'd like to keep it friendly but not with benefits if you get my drift.

IMO, If Ya don't want anything in return, I would either not visit there anymore, or just continue to be friendly as you would be to anyone else.
