Deer Park WA is the round about capitol of the USA. Small town of 1600 and we have two round abouts in town and two more on the highway. There was an intersection of the main road in town and the 60 mph highway that was constantly having serious accidents. When the county decided to put two round abouts on the highway I thought they had lost their minds. Turns out they work wonderfully and there’s been no serious accidents since they were installed.

Love that traffic light, I’m sure it will help our local “old men wearing hats” with their confusion with those new fangled round road things.

“Old men wearing hats” used to be my description for a person who was not driving properly. Now that I have become an old man wearing a hat it’s not nearly as “funny” as before.

We have several in our area. Most are intersections that didn't have a traffic light, one through street and one with a stop sign. Seems to cut down on the wait time for vehicles wanting to go left or straight through from the street that previously had the stop sign (if people know how to use them properly).

If you want some real fun, go drive in a city like Rome. Their round-abouts have up to 10 rings. People here can’t figure out one!

We have gotten several in this area in the last 5 years to replace 4 way stops and it has really helped once people figure them out. Indiana put one at a 5 way intersection on a highway and I have seen evidence of several vehicles that tried to drive straight though. That had to be an experience.

Have several new ones in our area, and seem to work well.
They don't appear to work at all in Sedona, AZ. during high tourist season. Traffic jammed up solid and nobody gets through. Four way traffic light would have been better at those circles.
