Hi all,
I have a Henry Bigboy Classic in .357 mag, I hand load and cast for all my leeever guns. I’ve purchased RNFP moulds for casting in .44 mag, and .45 Colt, for the .357, I have the mould my dad left me, it drops a round nose.358, dia, 160 grn boolit. My question is, is it safe to shoot round nose boolits in a leeever gun with a tubular magazine?
Thanks,
Paul
I think the known issues are taken care of. If you have any issues or know of another member who is having issues, PM daytime dave. As we head towards the holidays, hunt with your Henry.

lead tipped round nose, flat nose or hollow point bullets are customarily fine for using in a tube magazine ....

Re: Round nose boolits in a leeever gun
With all three leeever guns, and both smoke wagons I shoot light cowboy loads, as all I’m doing is shootin steel at the end of the property. They’re plenty accurate, easy on both me and the guns, and no leading! That makes me a happy man!
