When I first saw these pics yesterday I was going to comment that you had a pretty substantial snowfall at your cabin. Then I saw the news about VA and all the snow caused mess. Despite the problems on the highways your pics are beautiful. Good ole’ Buster the wonder dog, a little white stuff doesn’t stop him!

Well we got 4 inches of the stuff and then the temp dropped into the teens last night. My magnolia tree and cedars were hanging low but no limbs broke off. Got one of the cars cleaned off this morning and the roads are all clear. I hear more snow could be coming Friday.

January isn't messing around this year!

We are going to get hit tonight and tomorrow, 8-10" snow and 35mph winds, gusting higher.. The snow was getting too heavy so I bought a snowblower for the J.D a month ago. I haven't had to use it yet but I ran an extension cord out to the engine block heater just now.

We got 7" yesterday and it was a mess. I had to get the Kawasaki Mule out and plow my driveway. Then did our road since it's not county maintained. and finally plowed a few of the neighbors driveways. All-in-all it was fun running that Mule around. Everything that didn't get plowed turned to ice last night.

That's a nice setup you have there Forty. I'm not a jealous person of what other people have but....i would like to have a spread of land like that out in the country.
