Don't know if you are familiar with the RPR models, but Ruger did a fine job on these. Very well made. One of the high points is the easily adjustable trigger from 2.25 to 5lbs without any disassembly. Just the provided allen wrench that's stored in a small compartment aft of the bolt. Take down is simple also, and a dot of grease on the sear really slicks things up. I might buy a centerfire model next year.

One other thing: About this budget scope ($200). Nothing fancy about it, just your basic reticle, but has excellent glass and holds zero. Turrets can be reset to 0 easily with a quarter to remove the turret screw.
