Accurate #9 Powder
Recently, has anyone seen Accurate #9 Powder for sale anywhere? I use this powder for reloading .44 Mag for my Henry BBB rifle and my Smith & Wessson model 29 Classic revolver. For the last 3 months or so, I have been regularly checking both chain and independent retail outlets in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine as well as the on-line reloading warehouses for Accurate #9, and have not been able to find it anywhere.
Together with general shortage in reloading supplies, the availabily of AA #9 was complicated last Octbober, when as you may know, Hodgkin Powders bought out the Western Powder Comapny which was the maker of the entire line of Accurate powders. On their website, Hodgkin lists AA #9 as one of the powders they manuafacture.
If you know of any current source AA#9, I will grateful if you can share that with me. Thanks !

Sorry, I can’t help. You can sign up for an email notification, so if it comes into stock you can react quickly, as in RIGHT as soon as you get the email. I would go for an 8 pound jug if you can, so the hazmat charge will be easier to swallow, or if you don’t want that much, buy several small cans and sell the extras locally for a gazillion dollars..... or better yet, stash them away until the reloading drought is over.

Re: Accurate #9 Powder
Accurate 4100 might be a reasonable substitute....it and Ramshot Enforcer are the exact same powder, just different labels.
I use it in 41 Mag and it does quite well compared to #9, which I have also used...4100 is a little slower burning than #9, but not really by a whole lot, at least not in the 41.

Re: Accurate #9 Powder
I use AA#9 in all my .44s. I like to push Max Loads of #9 behind a 325 gr hard cast Boolit in my Red Hawk 71/2", My Marlin 1894 prefers a grain or two less, and my Ruger .44 Carbine will shoot that load, but I don't feed her a steady diet. She really likes standard factory 180 gr. type of loads. Cleaning that piston can be a bear. I love her tho.
