H009G

Post by brianpa » Sat Feb 20, 2021 7:17 pm

I just put money down on a Hoo9G steel frame in 30-30 that I've been trying to find for a little over a month. I called one of the top 100 dealers a month ago and and was put on a list but just on a whim I thought I would call them today just in case they over looked me and they had but luckily they had one left they just got in a week ago. So next week end I will make the 1 1/2 hour trip to the shop. YEA!
Forgot to mention the price was not all jacked up. A little over $900.00 after tax.

I have the H009 and like it! I think you will like your H009G as well. The only thing that I have done to mine is add a Range Point Precision Cloverleaf optic peep sight. It has made a world of difference. I have a clearer sight picture out to 100 yards (the range that I wanted to shoot out to using open sights).
Actions speak louder than words (Matthew 21:28-31).

I have been on a quest to find one of these, and it sounds like you won the lottery. Hope you have something to feed it, because 30-30 ammo is scarce, too. Congrats on finding what appears to be a really nice rifle.

Centaur,
I have been reloading for years and I have some 30-30 but I am still on the look out for components and factory ammo.
