Leather lever wrap installed

Post by Hatchdog » Sun Jan 17, 2021 2:09 pm

Got my lever wrap installed that Ernie provided to the New Years Day give-away. Another great big thank you to all who were involved with the drawing. My first attempt at installing a wrap, looks like I have just a tad bit of bulge in the leather at the rear but that’s a pretty tight radius to go around. Probably somebody more skilled than me could get it to lay flatter. BUT, it is perfectly fine for me and the comfort is great. When I was shooting this rifle the other day (BBS 357) I noticed that I was getting just a bit of dis-comfort on my fingers from working the lever. Probably because I knew I would be installing the wrap soon. Can’t wait to get back out and give it a run.

Looks fine to me, Hatch. Just needs shootin'.

Looks good to me. It adds that something extra to an already classy rifle.

Outstanding. I wrapped mine, then gave it to a friend who liked it more.
I may have to do it again. :D
