Had to make more room for my 1894CB44 coming

Post by jstanfield103 » Thu Nov 26, 2020 2:50 pm

Not a Henry to say post but there is a Henry in the rack.

Guy's/Gal's

I have an 1894CB44 coming in early next week and had to make some room in my Lever Action gun rack for it. So I built another single rifle rack that stands on end. Like it and now I will move the Henry 45/70 to the very top of the rack and the 1894CB44 will go in it's place right under the 1894CB45. I need to build another full size rack soon. I can't get all my levers in the rack anymore.

That is one nice rack full of levers. Really like the Marlin(?) off to the side in the vertical rack. Kinda like having Thanksgiving dinner at the kids table.

Sheer beauty indeed!

Guy's,
Thank you so much, levers are my weakness. I really enjoy shooting them all, I have a total of 36 steel plates if you count all the steel on every rack that I shoot quite regular, although I have slowed down due to ammo the way it is. Hate to just waste it when it's so hard to find.

Here is what you guy's are looking at in those racks.

Big Rack-Top to Bottom

1. 1968 Marlin 336RC in 30/30
2. 1966 Marlin 39A Golden Mountie 22 lr.
3. 1955 Marlin 39A Mountie 22 lr.
4. 2012 Marlin 1894CB45 45 Colt
5. 2019 Henry Steel H010 45/70
6. 1978 Winchester 9422 XTR (stock redone to my liking) 22 lr.
7. 1980 Browning BL-22 22 lr.

Small Rack (single gun rack)

1. 2013 1894CSBL 357 Magnum

Really like your collection. Have to say, I have a soft spot for the 39A, as I have one, a 1957 that I absolutely love shooting. Keep that lever gun collection growing. You've done well '103. Very well.

Thanks,
I never ever see a 39A at my LGS. So I paid dearly for the 1955 model. Then about a six months ago I walked in and the 1966 model was hanging on the wall. No hesitation at $450 it went home with me.

Nice gun racks, and some nice leverguns.
I have a few Marlins myself.
Hope to hear how that new to you Cowboy preforms.

Thanks Guy's/Gal's

For all the comments, really enjoy all those rifles. They have all been cut down to a LOP 12.5" and they are all used. Don't care how old or how good shape they are. When I get them home the stock is chopped to 12.5" and the gun goes straight to the range. Love shooting these.
