Mark we came through Ashville on the way here, but will be returning through Atlanta.
They are repaving the west bound lane in the mountains.
We will avoid that, maybe next time.

that tornado was in Allen, SD, about 375 miles west of us .... south of Wall, SD and on the Rosebud Reservation .... that tornado spun in about the same place for over 30 minutes .... we understand that's not common .... so far as I've heard, one home was damaged, but thankfully no injuries were reported.

I usually have 4 or 5, 12 oz beers.
But prefer a darker one. :D

The rest of our kids are here for a few days. Last night sat around the fire ring, sipping wine, watching the flames and catching up. Pleasant light warm breeze kept the bugs away.

Oh forgot to mention, earlier last afternoon, we went out to my shooting lane with the Long Ranger and Uberti. Casual chat and taking turns shooting at the shooting tree paddles.

Evening all, I'm sippin on a Black & Tan.
A buddy of mine from Fla., we meet through another gun forum, he's working up in Kentucky, he came by Sat. night and we sat out by the fire and drank a few.
Stayed again last night and we rode over to the TN river, then sat around last night and watched westerns till 1:00 this morning.

Rainy day so I didn't have to work and he didn't have to be back to work till this evening.
Had a good weekend,
