Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Being confined to quarters is better with good coffee. My wife ordered a variety pack from Black Rifle Coffee Company. I am a big fan of their coffee and business. Veteran owned and operated.
Today should be overcast and low 70’s here about two hours west of JEBar. Looks like a good day to wash my truck.

My Brother sent me a bag of their signature blend called CAF. If you want to stay up all night, just drink a cup of that. It's good stuff but it is CAF, pardon my French. The troops in the sand pile love the stuff, and I can see why. Wish I would have had some CAF while I was standing watch.

54° and overcast. It's a mess outside from all the debris from the trees and wind. Lots, and lots of work to do. Right now however I'm letting the dark roast coffee do its magic. Dogs fed, and laying back down. Stage safe and healthy out there. Cheers!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I am also a fan of Black Rifle Coffee. Sunny day today with a high near 70.
Coffee in VFW cup with toast and jam.
More yard work today. Raking the dead grass out of the lawn and mulching flower beds.
People have asked me why we still live here with all the work it takes to keep it up. I tell them
that this is my health spa. It gets me outside in the fresh air and makes my sorry butt exercise.
I'm going to do it as long as I am able.

Rifletom, yes still playing it along with others. I am still waiting for my Christmas present from my wife' She ordered me a new guitar that I have wanted for some time. It is coming from the Fender custom shop. They are shut down now so how knows when I will get it. Oh ya it is a Merle Haggard sig. Telecaster. I was back playing every weekend until all this covid stuff came about.

50's this week with some rain. Just heard last night Calgary Stampede in July canceled. First time in 100 yrs. It brings $500m into the local economy every year. With oil down too Alberta is in a world of hurt.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Nice looking Gretsch mlrifleny. I'm looking to cull some of my guitars that I seldom play anymore. Anyway, the weather: 67° degrees this morning at 6:20. That was 13° cooler than yesterday morning. Supposed to get up to 91° today. Second cup of joe down and getting ready to work.

Sitting on the porch, drinking my coffee, 55 degrees supposed to warm up to middle sixties. Brief rain shower went through but sunny now. One of the grand kids called and wanted to shoot targets. Grand kid, target shooting, sunny day and big ol mug of coffee, doesn’t get better than that!

Merle's sig Telecaster? Dang, you're going to really like that one. I haven't plugged in my Telecaster in a while. I believe I'll rectify that today! Keep playing that Gretsch Jim! Stay safe.mlrifleNY wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 9:27 amRifletom, yes still playing it along with others. Telecasters have a unique sound all their own.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
First cup of coffee being sipped. Happy to be in the game for another day. Best of luck to everyone today. We are a lucky bunch. I'm glad I made it this far down the trail. I'm still interested in tramping over the rise to see whats around the next bend. Hope everyone else's day is good. Now, back to that coffee......

45° and wet out. Rain in the forecast. Downed the 1st cup rather quickly. Working on 2nd cup of Joe now. Stay safe and healthy out there. Cheers!
