It is getting more and more difficult to post anything in this thread. Yes, the Braves lost another one, 0 wins, 9 losses for the season. Nothing much else to say.

Sorry, JWC.

Another story happening for us with the Royals. They just finished the sixth inning in their final series game with the Astros. Throughout the other three games, very little ball playing by both teams, very few runs --- except the first game where Astros scored eight.

Tonight, and I'd really say for the first time this season, KC highly reprised the World Series play they did so often in the 2015 season. First inning of this game, Moustakas blasted a solo homer. Quiet until the sixth inning. In the sixth with two outs, the Royals scored 5 runs, mostly with extra-base hits! It has been show-time again.....lots of fun.

Just need to hang in for three more innings.... :)

The KC/Houston 4-game series just ended.
Royals took this last game 6-2, and took the series 3-1.
Starting tomorrow, we'll be at the Athletics for a 3-game weekend series.

A good week so far :!:

M's beat the Yanks on the road. Not sure why but when the M's are home they can't play. Last year they had a loosing record at home but a winning record on the road.

Ouch -- A's won the game 3-2.
Ouch -- A's took series 2-1.

Well, the Braves are on a tear. The have won 3 straight after losing 9 straight. Don't get too excited, they will continue to be up and down, and I believe mostly down, this season. I still don't know all the names of the players.

The Royals are my second favorite team. I wish my M's had your "ouch" problems. We are 5-7.

The Royals rested tonight.
We enjoyed watching the Cubs vs. Cardinals game...just ended. Cub 5 -- Cards 0
The Cubs are a favorite team of mine (along with the Royals), since I grew up just six miles west of Chicago. Gotta be home-town loyal! ;)

Ready for KC's next series starting tomorrow...they'll be back home here playing the Tigers.

The Braves still have a streak going!!! Of course they did not play today, but a streak is a streak. It is the 18th of April and we are only 6 games back of the division leaders. GO BRAVES! I have got to try and find that sarcasm font!

KC took the Tigers in the first of three tonight 8-6. The Royals "W" was hung out again in center field!

Highlights of the game came from KC catcher Salvador Perez. He doubled, had a 3-run home, and ended the day with a career-high 5 RBIs tonight. It was fun to watch the exuberant congrats (pounding, slapping, high-fives) in the Royals dugout after those plays.

Actually, with their 6 runs the Tigers also played well. Would have been fun to be there. The game was good all-around! :)
