TS Colin paid it's respects yesterday with a couple inches of rain. Clearing today with a predicted high in the low 90s. Looking forward to the weekly trip to the local indoor range with Clovispup this afternoon.

We had rain Monday night and showers moved through the area yesterday and the wind blew all day. Got up this morning and it is down right ugly out with the wind a very low dark clouds. Rain is going to be here shortly. I can not believe this crappy weather this spring. I will have to find a project to get into in my gun room by the looks of the weather coming.

Beautiful, cool and sunny morning, but the forecast is for midday T-Storms that could be nasty. On Wednesday's I have a standing lunch date with my oldest friend. We met 51 years ago at the YMCA and have been close friends ever since.

Not quite as hot here. Rain in the forecast next few days. Having morning tea. Bought more ammo! Have a great day all.

I had to head out early today for a dentist appointment. That the tooth, the whole tooth, and nothing but the tooth.

Plenty of time before work today. I'm percolating a pot of coffee. It's going to be sunny and 65. Can't ask for better weather. I hope it's nice where you are.

I woke up this morning at 4:50AM and thought it feels a little cool in here this morning. I looked at the out side temp and it was 39*. I felt like getting my hunting clothes on and going for squirrel. :) It is sunny and bright out now with clear skies but calling for wind so I may not waste time going to the range today but spend time doing some other things here at home.

Wow :!: 39* is my kind of cool weather! We have the exact opposite here today with prediction to be 93*, and could reach about 97*. And it also is very humid, so the heat index calcs will be happening. All weekend days will be hot or hotter yet.

OK. Send your 39* my way, but don't tell anyone else here in the Northland that I asked for it!

It's a beautiful crisp, cool, sunny morning as I sit enjoying my second cup of dark roast coffee. To get to 76* today. Perhaps I'll visit the community yard sales this morning. Tomorrow, so they predict, thunderstorms are on the way. You all have a nice day.

Same weather here in CT. We'll spend a bit of time today washing the boat. Storms tomorrow.

Went hiking in the rain yesterday, it rained all night and now as I sip my morning tea I see the sun is coming out.

our camper is setup in Fenton, MO .... hot and humid already this morning, have already stitched from coffee to iced tea .... first order of the day was to get ice for the 160 qt Yeti cooler mounted on the back of the camper .... first time we've added ice since Saturday .... its a shame when you work up a sweat hauling ice to a cooler ..

Those Yeti's are expensive.

that they are .... if all we needed was cooler to take to the lake once in a while, I couldn't see spending the money .... the butcher in my Wife's hometown is a master when it comes to processing steaks .... we've brought them back home with us for many years, friends have tried them and placed order to where when we return home in August we will leave with about $3,000 worth of fresh (not frozen) individually vacuum packed sirloin and rib eye steaks in the Yeti .... it has taken us over 3 weeks to get home and we not only have never lost a steak but the time is figured into the aging process .... over time we've tried relatively expensive Igloo, Coleman, and other top name brands and while they all worked, none can compare with the Yeti .... the way it handles keeping its contents cool while adding minimal ice in August is exceptional .... also when we spend the winter in Texas there are times we are a significant drive from good grocery shopping .... using the Yeti really comes in handy

It is 60* and sunny right now. Calling for a high of 93*. I would like to keep it at 60* for the day and then cool down after dark. I just got back from the gas station where I had to go get my coffee as the Chinese junk coffee maker decided it is no longer going to work for me. Buy another one later today and see how long that piece of junk will last. Probably won't be a Black & Decker. I hope they get the hay down today by my house and maybe my allergies will not be as bad. I am going out on the back porch now and strip the finish from a Marlin 39A stock and fore arm I have been putting off doing for to long. Wish every one a great week end and have fun.

It's thunderstorms and rain this morning. I'm having coffee from my "tin cup". It's a cup that came with my Wenzel percolator.

Image

I think it was a camping set I got at Sam's club. It came in a bag, four stainless cups and a Stainless pot.

Too bad about your coffee pot bandit. Mine will make a lot more coffee for years to come. The only thing to happen to it is the guide rod on the coffee basket came off. Didn't effect anything.

I hope everyone's weekend goes well.

Going to be 91 today. Some pool time with the kids, then at some point today it's cleaning time for my everyday carry 1911. Going to get the lint out and some more lube on it. Ice tea later today for sure. Everybody stay safe out there and have a good one.

On a side note, I'm very glad I found this forum. It's a great community.
