Snowing steady here. May just reload today instead of anything else planned. Bacon & beans for supper tonight, always a cowboy treat.

A groundcover overnight and a few snow showers this morning but partly sunny now, 36 and breezy - turning out better than predicted - and wouldn't have been too bad of a trip over the pass to get the gun I THOUGHT was in Oregon!!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Morning, 37° outside, haha partly cloudy and going up to 62° so they say, but
you guessed it suppose to start raining tonight. Guess we need it our mud is trying to dry out.
Talking like the TN river flooding again this year, pretty bad last year and predicting it to be higher this time.
Lots of folks lost a lot stuff last year.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
we awoke on the Colorado River near Columbus, TX anticipating a dark and gloomy morning with rain and temp in the 60's .... well, its 65 and overcast with the rain still a good ways off .... beats the 11+ inches of snow they got last night at my wife's home in South Dakota where we spend our summers .... egg, cheese, mushroom omelet with thick sliced bacon with Folgers in a Henry mug as we await the rain
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
25 with light fog. Supposed to be more typical weather for the next several days with lows in the lower 20’s and highs around 40 with clear skies. Here in Eastern Washington State all is good but Western Washington and to the south of me there is flooding. Western Washington has been pummeled with rain and those poor folks are getting all the flooding.
Folgers this morning and in a bit Mrs. Hatchdog and I need to get to work planning a trip. We are heading to South Dakota to the Mt. Rushmore/Deadwood/Badlands area in late May and need to get reservations made soon.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
A small warming trend today, but not quite in my "best" temp range for BP shooting. This afternoon is the first muzzleloading shoot of 2020 at the BP club range in Kingsville. But the forecast there is gloomier than here in KCMO. High temp predicted to be 48* with a +60% chance of rain. Still not into unpacking all my BP supplies and shooting in that kind of weather.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Nothin like the sound of gun going off in crisp winter weather. Particularly at elevation. Dang, I got to go out and do me some shootin.

It's 28F here too with high winds, but might just make a trip to the range anyway. Like Al says, good shootin' weather....

29 & sunny this morning - but the best part was spring 'came in' yesterday afternoon - the air felt different and I could 'smell' it.
I don't exactly know how to describe it - I just know when it is here.

Departed Santa Rosa yesterday for K.Falls OR. Sunny here too, but at least 20' colder, plus wind chill. 45 was the high today.

40° and the rain is on its way. Flooding is expected.Va just across the border was hit hard last week, with lots of flooding. Got the property cleaned up yesterday from last week's wind events. My old poulan chain saw did its job. Today I shoot. No work!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Morning, moetur, you are correct it is definitely on it's way.
Started here around dark last night and hasn't stopped, windy blowing like you know what.
Power glitch or two, feels sorry for the folks over by the river.
