I've got 2 Hi Walls...both "Traditional Hunters"...28" bbls, Browning w/Octagonal in 38-55, and a 40-65 Win. round bbl. The 40 is a "Winchester" and has a case hardened receiver and a "shotgun" butt stock.. the 38 has the crescent butt stock but maybe the best wood you could hope to get..I shoot the 38-55 in competition at both 200 and 500 yds off hand...I gave up shooting the 1874 Sharps (3) off hand as they have become somewhat muzzle heavy, the older I get...RR..hope your ...Wall gets in soon...BobGinVA
