the Canes take Islanders in game 3 by a 5 - 2 score .... the match was closer than the score .... with 1 minute left in the 3rd period the Canes were up by 1 .... the Islanders pulled their goalie and the Canes slapped 2 long range shots into the empty net .... the Canes are now up 3 games to O .... Game 4 Friday night .... it would really help the Canes to end it Friday, with all their injuries, having a few days to heal would be a very good thing

I'm certainly no expert and I pull for the Canes because they are a local team .... from watching the playoffs, I do believe that the winner of the Bruins vs Canes series will be the favorite to win the Cup

Great minds think alike anybody but Boston I will be routing for. And if its Boston and San Jose in the final I wont even watch or care.

I anticipate, not that it really matters though, that I will be on and off the grid for about 3 hours tomorrow nite. Canes vs Bruins 8 to 11 pm.

Game one tied after 1. Fun here tonite, monitoring forum and watching playoff hockey...life is good...for now anyway.
