Now that I've learned how to operate it properly (that's another thread!), thought I'd close the loop on this thread, based on my first range visit yesterday.
Shot 4 groups at 4 shots per group at 25 yards, stock sights.
Had a fuzzy view of both sights and a general idea of the bullseye in red of the 11" X 17" splatter target 25 yards away.
After 3 groups, raised the rear sight one notch. Pic below shows the improvement/change. See shots marked "4".
Bottom line: Peep on order from Skinner. Low Pro and one smaller aperture, a dove tail filler and triangular file, just in case.
Thanks so much for all your input and advice. Will look forward to continuing to share and learn.
Site seems to be OK. Load issue should be resolved now.

Looking forward to hear about your Low Pro install, and how well it works/lines up with front sight. Sounds like you're keeping the stock bead sight on the Henry for now.
Then the biggie. Looking forward to another Range Report with the mods completed. We'll possibly see that red oval bull shreaded and sent down the dusty trail!
Enjoy your next Henry steps!
