Happy New Year y’all, plans have changed, I tucked my wife on to her hospital bed and wished her a happy new year. She fell asleep so if she is still sleeping at midnight I don’t think I’ll wake her up. So to the forum members “Happy New Year” and I’ll toast you with an Irish , Sláinte!

Well the grandson finally went down.Finishing off a cold one and say good night.

My gin and tonic for starters tonight. Empress 1908 Gin with Fevertree tonic. Yum.

Followed up with Venison stew, sourdough bread and a KenWright Cellars Pinot Noir. A nice way to end the year!

Got the missus home from the hospital today, got her all settled in. Had a cold Budweiser (everything here is cold) while watching the bowl games. I hope everyone had a good New Years Day, too all skål.

Stuck here in quarantine, missus is getting along, trying to stay warm so tonight I had an Irish coffee,?wishing everyone the best, Sláinte !

Italian Sausage for dinner with peppers and onions along with a nice glass of white wine.
Then a VFW meeting followed by a beer with the boys at the local brew pub.
Then at home with a martini.
It was a good evening.
