Very cold this morning, and fresh snowfall over night. However, according to the forecast, TODAY IS THE DAY! Warmer weather on its way this afternoon and up into the 60's this week. Tea time and get on with the day.

Started out a real nice mornin, till the 30 mile-an-hour wind kicked up. Spect it'll blow all day.

Warmed up to 24 this morning with light snow flurries around. 38 for the high tomorrow and dropping into the teens with snow for Monday through Wednesday totaling 7"-8", possibly.
I heard parts of NC may receive 12" !!
Late brunch today and off to play cards.
Had a party last night for the stepdaughter's 30th !! Had it at the local watering hole and the Wife stayed sober, just in case, but all was good so I did not !! Between that and the time change, a little tired today.
SO MUCH FOR AN EARLY SPRING

We've had almost 6 months of winter, and spring can't come soon enough. I don't mind snow and some cold but we have not been much above -10 since first week of November. We had about 6 weeks straight of -25 to -30 and even a couple of days of -40. So glad I put up extra hay. Water should be running here this week for sure.

Winter storm warning here, 12 to 16 inches predicted. Should start around 9:00PM eastern time with wind also. Not what Ranch Roper gets up there but enough for here. Could snow at two inches an hour at times, they say. Have this eight hp TORO ready to go, the literature claims that it can throw about 1700 pounds of snow a minute. Really!?

Good luck. Hope it's not as bad as predicted. Spring might have hit here finally. Handfuls of hair coming off the horses now.

29* at 8:00 AM and still dumping the snow down. We have over 8" now and looks like we are in the 12-15" area. I believe we could get more before this moves through. The wife is on vacation this week so I might just let it where it is and leave the warmer temps and the rain fore cast for later in the week take it away. My back went out yesterday so shoveling is not in my plans.

I plan to go out around 10:30 and start blowing snow, the most snow should be just about through by then. Somewhere around 12". Wind to blow tonight and drifting snow but with higher temperatures later this week it should melt rather quickly.

I'm pretty sure the east coast storm warning was a bust? Anyone here confirm?

Another sunny day here. Should be in the low 80s as well. Enjoy everyone.
