37 and the sky is showing the promise of a nice sunny day as did the weather guy on the morning news. High today around 50 and only getting nicer this weekend. Peaking on Monday tickling 70 then cooling off a bit but still above average next week in the 50’s and sunny.

I didn’t get to the lawn thatching the other day so that’s on tap for today. That is after assembling four bar stools my wife ordered that arrived yesterday, 16 bolts per stool, I told her it was going to cost her……..

Another night of heaving icing and frost. And another 7” of snow on the way. I love winter but it’s now spring and I’m no longer in the mood for this show.

Friday, April 3rd has been a pretty nice one .... only disappointment has been a few periods of drizzle didn't so much as settle the dust .... they say our high today was 76 .... temp at 7PM has fallen back to 73 on its way to an anticipated overnight low of 59 .... as part of our preparations for a drive out to South Dakota in June we took another test run in our truck .... prior test runs let us know the mileages we can anticipate a 65 and 70 mph ..... today's 60+ mile cruse was to determine the fuel mileage traveling at an interstate speed of 75 mph .... South Dakota's rural speed limit is 80, don't anticipate learning our truck's mileage at that speed until we cross into the state south of Sioux Falls

BRM, looks like you folks will need pastel colored parkas.

31 here with a nice bright sunrise happening. Not sure of the high temp forecast but I’ll bet it will be high 50’s to low 60’s. Wonderful! More nice weather for several days.

Heading up north to the property today to do a look around. We might head up for three days this week and I may need to clean up the RV pad. We’re thinking real hard about selling it so will need to do some clean up, mostly mowing and opening up the atv trails in the wooded area.

Happy Easter .... 71 at 9AM on Sunday, April 5th .... projected high 74 followed by an overnight low of 47 .... per Accuweather : "Intervals of clouds and sun, breezy and not as warm with a couple of showers and a thunderstorm from late morning on; there can be ponding on roadways" .... from looking at the radar, the rain front should move into our area around noon and hang around for several hours .... sadly, the forecasted rain will have very little impact on our drought

Lakeville, Mn.
34f, 79% Humidity
A 50 percent chance of showers, mainly after 3pm. Increasing clouds, with a high near 50.
West wind 5 to 15 mph.

Happy Easter. We're ready for church and then the family dinner that Carol loves to do.
She plans for a week and works all evening on Saturday night to get ready.
Unfortunately our youngest is in a snit with her Mother and she refuses to come, so her
family will not be here either. Pity. I try to stay out of it.

Good morning and Happy Easter.

35 this morning with a high expected to be 66. There’s a light overcast now but sunny skies are expected. A very nice week ahead, spring has sprung.

No plans for today other than enjoying the day with my wife and dogs.

41 this morning with a forecast high of 70 :o . Pretty amazing for early April. Weatherman said our last 70 degree day was Oct 10, 2025 nearly six months ago. Nice all week and that’s wonderful for the school kids who are on spring break this week.

Younger dog is going to the vet for his regular checkup and shots today otherwise not much on tap.

Kind of a blistering day. I saw this sand hill crane land and now it’s crying for its mate.
