38 and overcast now with a high in the 50’s expected. Maybe some overnight rain then on the nice side for a few days. Had a great day on the golf course yesterday but still in long pants and sweatshirt. Today I’ll finish up my pine cone pickup project. Seems like every one I pick up another falls.
Hey Hatch, same thing here with these blame gumballs and the sweet gum tree here in the side yard.
Clean them up and next day it almost looks like you didn't do anything.

RP
 Sounds like you have the same “fun” as I. Finished up the pinecones and broken branches yesterday and as I look outside I see dozens of pinecones replacing the cones I picked up.

32 with clear blue skies and sunshine leading to frost….. Spring is coming. High today in the mid 40’s and rain is expected on Wednesday, maybe a substantial rain at that. We’re still over an inch short of normal so far this year. An inch doesn’t sound like much to some of you but for us it’s 25% of normal. Our rivers are running high with snow melt and that is a month early. Looks to be a dangerous summer and fall unless we get rain.

Leaving shortly to take Mrs hatchdog to our regular eye doc for a final follow up for her surgery.
