Happy Veterans' Day .... its a cold but beautiful morning in central NC .... 28 when we got up, already up to 33 at 8:30AM under a cloudless sky .... they are calling for a high of 49 later to day with tomorrow's high being a much more reasonable 62 .... we are keeping our 9 year old whose school is closed for Veterans' Day .... he did a great job of scrambling the eggs this morning .. 8-) .. just after noon Maureen has a physical therapy appointment .... nothing else on today's calendar

Had 5 inches of heavy snow with many downed limbs in the area. Snowing hard again with possible 4 more inches. High of 37 tomorrow working up to 60 Saturday. It is interesting anyway.
 That sounds like Tenn. weather.
High 20's this morning, high was 39 and saying 22 in the morning.
Then, then 8-) back to the 70's by Fri. actually I just looked, 76 Fri & Sat.  27* at the moment.
Fire in the ole Ashley this evening. ;) what I should've said, Ashley is keeping me warm tonight. :o

RP
Mrs. Vaquero sure is accommodating allowing Ashley to keep you warm at night.

Here it’s 38 and foggy but it’s supposed to burn off and be sunny later. No snow so far this season but thankfully we’re west of the big cold arctic air hitting central US. We’ve had some overnights in the mid 20’s and frost but none of that “S” word.

We are in the middle of having the new flooring installed and man is our house a mess. Had a painter in last week so this mess has been ongoing. But in the end it will be great!

Fair, 27°F,Humidity 93%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 30.12 in
Dewpoint 25°F
Visibility 10.00 mi
Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 57.
Calm wind becoming south around 5 mph in the afternoon.

Busy day today. First I have to take my four wheeler's wheels and new tires to a friends shop
and drop them off for mounting, then come home and blow leaves.

About five we have to leave for the city. Our youngest daughter has a newer house they just moved into and want
to have us for dinner. She did mention steaks on the grill.

Oh, and I guess it's a birthday party for me. Never had one of those before as I really choose not to,
but in this case I guess it's OK.

I am 85 today. I did not expect to live this long, and frankly I'm
surprised I have.
