Loaded 20 rds. of 38-55 using a 255 gr RFN bullet half,
with 10 grs. Unique, and the other with 7.5 grs. Trail Boss.
I know what the Unique load can do, but I've never tried the TB.
Something to shoot in between the 6.5 test rds. ;)

Do you have a 38-55 Henry? I don't see or hear about that round much. Looks like that would have some range -

No sir, I have a Marlin Cowboy with the 24" octagon barrel.
The previous owner of it, a good friend, he used it to ring gongs out to 900+ yds. :D
I've not shot it that far. ;)
I wouldn't mind a Henry to compare with this Marlin, but
I don't care for the carved stock that comes on that model.🤮
Been thinking about one of the single shot 30-30's, and then sending it to JES to have rebored to 38-55. :o ;)
I contacted him the other day about the idea, and he said no problem.

De-capped, resized and cleaned 2K 9mm cases.

Nice group Randy, must have sneezed on that 5 0'clock hit. Karma was telling you it was cocktail time and you needed to pour a whiskey !

I was going to guess 2000 on your primer contest think I was such a smart fella. Then I read your bottle was a mix of rifle and pistol. So much for being a smart fella. :D
