76 F going about 10 degrees warmer today.
Coffee is somewhat proper this morning. In a Stengl pottery cup and saucer, just because.
Lots of around the house projects this am.
I met my new neighbor yesterday. He seemed like a nice fellow. He closes Wednesday. He is a local and seems to know everyone.

I hope everyone here has a good day.

55 again this morning with a beautiful sunrise. Getting hot already with a high in the mid 90’s expected. It’s not even 9:00 yet and I had to close all the windows on the east side of the house. Hotter tomorrow, hot on Monday but Tuesday we have another cold front coming in. While it will cool the temps by 15 degrees it will bring wind and high fire danger. This the same type of cold front we had earlier this week and the result of that front is two large fires burning in the area. 6000 and 5000 acres with homes lost. Sad.

Took the dogs out for our morning hike and had an interesting adventure. They jumped a turkey on the trail and instead of just flying off like normal this one flew 20’, landed, flew 20’, landed several times. When it first took off I thought I saw some movement to my left but not sure. Most likely there was a group of babies who went left and mom led the dogs away from them. Gotta love nature. :D

different daily report .... unsure as to today's high, 84 with a RealFeel of 102 at 8PM .... thunderstorms are in the forecast between now and 10PM .... overnight low should fall to 71 .... a couple of fellows from Lowe's picked up Maureen's defective, new clothes washing machine shortly before noon .... yet another replacement from Lowe's is supposed to be delivered tomorrow morning ..... yep, Sunday morning .... I was surprised to learn they make deliveries on Sunday morning .... next up for us this morning was hauling trash .... not glamorous but certainly a necessary chore .... on our way back home we stopped at a local roadside farmer's market and purchased some fresh tomatoes .... that pretty much sums up or day ....

so far as we know, Maureen's new clothes washer is still slated to be delivered this morning .. :D .. at this point all we can do is hope this one proves to be a good one .... 79 (RealFeel 94) with a predicted high of 91 this afternoon before falling back to an overnight low of 73 .... significant chance of afternoon and evening thunderstorms this coming week .... nothing I know of that would require us to leave home today
