Yeah Al, I like Texas too but I'm not sure I want to spend the Summer
there. Gets a little warm for me.
Well gets cold in Minnesota in the winter to. So leave in July and August. You got those big wheels on that nice MH. It can take you to cooler or warmer
One more day here in the 80’s then back down to the 60’s and rain. Just hope it’s rain and not hail.

A cool sunny 41 this morning, we’re experiencing the same cold front as Mags spoke of above. High around 70. Our place up near the border may have had frost this morning. Getting warmer every day this week and mid 80’s by the weekend. Very nice!
We’re leaving for California early Thursday morning and my son was planning on staying here and taking care of the dogs. Unfortunately he ended up in the hospital yesterday with a burst diverticulitis. He’s staying for 48 hours on a strong antibiotic and tomorrow the surgeon will make a decision if surgery in needed. Poor him. Now we’re up in the air as to what we will do about the dogs. There’s a boarding kennel in Deer Park and we are planning on stopping in this morning and speaking with them about possibly boarding the dogs. Just another added cost to an already too expensive trip. &*^%$&

From what you have showed us in pictures you have a nice place. No matter how one feels about climate or anything else in the area they are in leaving something that is very nice like yours is hard to do. I hate the politics in this state and the new laws have made it worse. But at least I live in an area that have like minded people.

Our VFW Post received National Recognition and will be featured in
the National Magazine. We found out at the BBQ/Meeting last evening.
We were told that what put us over the edge was our program of
visiting assisted living and nursing homes to have coffee and doughnuts
with vets living there. I take part in that and enjoy it a lot.
