44 with a partly cloudy sky today and warm temps expected later. Unfortunately for Mother’s Day we are expecting some on and off rain. While we need the moisture badly it needs to hold off for a day so the Mothers can enjoy their day.

We have postponed out trip scheduled for next week. My wife has been sick and after a trip to the doc a few days ago she was diagnosed with diverticulitis. She’s on two antibiotics and so far progress has been slow. We decided at the rate she’s improving there was no sense in leaving for nearly a week in the RV.

Speaking of RV’s, my son is will be here soon. I’m helping him pick up his new RV, a 34’ travel trailer. His f150 pickup is too light duty to haul it but he has plans to upgrade to a 250 or a 350. Since I have a 250 dad got selected to do the towing,

Warm this morning at 54 but a heavy overcast that suggests that the promise of some rain today may happen. Then measurable (thank you) rain overnight with a cool and showery week ahead. Still waiting for the local weather folks to get out of bed and confirm this. Not much planned for today other than enjoying Mother’s Day with my wife.

This is the travel trailer my son bought and we towed yesterday. It’s a big-en but towed fine behind my F250. Of course it’s empty other than a third tank of fresh water which helps. This picture was taken before the techs adjusted the hitch making the trailer more level when towed.

That' huge. Like take the whole house with you huge. They'll get a lot of fun out that one. They going to borrow your truck a lot?

51 and cloudy. Had some early morning rain. Just enough to wet the open areas. Stayed dry under the tree canopy. Maybe 59' later with rain this afternoon.
