Tybee Island, Ga.
48°F
Sunny, with a high near 64.
West wind 6 to 10 mph becoming south in the afternoon.
I got the electric bikes out of the Explorer yesterday and charged
the batteries so maybe today we'll go for a ride.
We're eating a lot of good seafood.

Thanks JE. We're just chilling and taking it easy. Yesterday we found a really quaint seafood store which also serves seafood in a makeshift deli. All really fresh stuff right off the boat which is moored right there. This is not a place that looks fit for a restaurant, but the food is really good.
We also have been eating lunch at the "Crab Shack" which is also very good and very rustic. The prices seem high but they give you so much food that we end up bringing back to the RV for another meal.

36 and raining this morning. Rain is expected to continue on and off all day. The mountain passes to the north, west and east are all getting hammered with snow with 6-12” predicted for today. This is good news as we lost quite a bit of the snow pack two weeks ago when it was so warm. Since the temps are expected to stay in the 30’s all morning I lit the wood stove for the first time in a few days.

Nothing planned but it sure looks like an indoors day.

42 this morning after a night of heavy rain. Today’s forecast is for more rain and winds with gusts to 40. Not a nice day at all. My dogs are giving me that look, “how come we not taking our daily hike?”. There may be a window this morning to get out and do just that, hope so. Maybe some snow this weekend. I’m bummed because we had a false spring a few weeks ago and I sure would like to get back to it.

39' and wet with hazy sun. Must have rained hard last night. Creek behind has some attitude in it's flow.

its been a busy morning ... first up a multiply purpose cross country trip to our next town and back ... on the way we hauled off trash, dropped off package to be returned at the local UPS store, took then picked up groceries and meds at Walmart .... after getting home we both worked on getting our camper and truck ready for our first camping weekend of 2025 ..... neither are ready to head to South Dakota but both appear to be ready for tomorrow's less than one hour drive .... shortly before dark our youngest son brought his new 2025 Chevy Silverado 1500 for us to see it .... its one of the nicest pickups that I've ever seen, far nicer than any I've ever owned .... back in 1999 we owned a gloss black Silverado 1500 .... I still believe a high gloss black vehicle is the prettiest thing on the road and his truly shines .... one difference between he and I is that he not only is willing, he enjoys keeping it shiny .... I'm NOT .... sitting in it has pretty much the same feel as sitting in our 2011 Silverado 1500 and that's pretty much where the similarity ends .... his is nicer in every aspect .... its been a beautiful day .... it got up to 73 under a mostly sunny sky .... the temp has fallen back 64 and is predicted to continue to drop to 45 overnight

It’s currently 44F and heading to 67F. That’s t-shirt weather and we still have big patches of snow.

Lakeville, MN,
48°F
Partly sunny, with a high near 74.
Breezy, with a south southeast wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph.

Tybee Island, Ga.
53°F
Mostly sunny, with a high near 64.
Northwest wind 5 to 8 mph becoming southeast in the afternoon.

I think it's time to go home, but I remember those Spring snow storms that
we usually get, so not quite yet.

9AM 47 degrees with "spotty drizzle" that should move on within the next hour .... the forecast for Four Oaks today where our club is scheduled to camp this weekend is "Delightful with clouds giving way to some sun" .... low tonight 50 .... Sunday's forecast still looks pretty rough .... we hope to get on the road over there between 1 and PM .... much of this morning will be spent with preparations for the weekend
