forty, have to say, my house and property resemble yours very closely. Hate to say it, but, right now, I'm that pibull you always hear about. Vigilant.

I guess we live pretty protected lives here in central WA. Nothing like that going on around here (pop. is around 50,000) now or back in the seventies. I see it's going on over the mountains in Seattle. Might have been a few people carrying signs earlier in the day but when anyone around here does that, they just stand in one spot on the sidewalk. Getting ready to go do my weekly grocery shopping and am not at all worried about running into any rioters. Will most likely be carrying but that's normal for me when I'm out.

Everybody stay safe.

It looks like all is pretty calm here. The looters were trying to come our way. They did get to my place of work, but couldn't break in. They did get in to the phone store on the corner part of our lot. For the rest of the week we had officers at our store.
We finally opened Sunday, and it's been insanity. Only allowing 85 people in at a time. So there's always a line in front. So far everyone has been pretty respectful.
Still tense in the area.
I never take myself seriously....

I hope you and your family stay safe. More and more I think moving out of IL was a good move for me. I wish the rest of my family would follow suit.

The closest the looters got to me was about 8 miles and they were more interested in retail goods than going into neighborhoods. My wife and daughter stayed up in the mountains in the cabin. I was at the main home and kept a rifle or shotgun and a pistol nearby at all times in case the looters changed their focus.

The problem is that these folks want all the candy and none of the persimmons.

Our youngest Daughter and her family live in North Minneapolis. We don't like it, but she says there is no danger.
She's sipping the Kool Aid. I have different ideas about her neighborhood and they're not good.
