Considering the thousands that they build and sale, some is gonna get threw. But, there customer service is none like no other I've dealt with before. Henry's customer service is a 5 star class act in my opinion. Plus, Henry has a life time warranty regardless of who own's the firearm.

no clue .. .. what I can say for sure is we have 2 and so far we haven't had any issues .... I suspect that as has been noted, the law of averages is a few will need to be adjusted and the good news is, Henry if very good at making things right

if this computer was anywhere near a smart as its supposed to be, it wouldn't allow mistakes like that .... unfortunately, I can't blame this one on the equipment

Hey guys, yes after casting my first boolits and taken it to the range many of times finding a load. I learned a ton of information on casting and shooting lead boolits. After trying many different powders and two different bullet molds and different bullet hardnesses, I finally found a load. Using the NOE 460425 mold using air cooled wheel weights with a bdn of 11 sized to .459 and 426gr lubed with Lars BAC lube on top of 35gr of reloader-7 yeilded 1450fps and a impressive group with a 4x Nikon monarc African scope. I been doing 5 shot groups at 50yds. 4shots were .9 and 3 of those were under .5. I did have one flyer that threw a few inches to the right. (Disclaimer this load is what I found to be accurate in MY gun and so should NOT be assumed safe in yours.)

Yes sir, I figured it out, it only cost me about 6.50 a box to shoot vs the 50.00 a box they want around here!!!!! I still have and old empy box of 45-70 shells I had when I bought my NEF handi rifle I only ever shot a box outta it and it's been sitting in the safe for about 12yrs lol, anyway it only paid 18.99 a box then and when I seen how much they wanted for a box of factory ammo or a box of jacketed boolits I refused to pay that much hense why I started casting and I like it can't wait till I start casting for my other firearms aswell.

Are you using the load notes from the NOE forum?

What other mold have you tried?

It was a Lee 405gr, it seemed to have insufficient lube grooves and I was getting some pretty bad leading in the last few inches of my barrel. Once I switched to the noe mold that has 4 grooves and slowed the bullet down abit I just have some fouling and I got excellent accuracy with very minimal to no leading.
