My Henry does best with 158 gr. XTP JHP over 14.5 gr. of 2400. I have never tried the Speer 158 Gold Dots but assume they would shoot very much the same.

How about that. Just goes to show, same type of rifle, different results. I'll probably give that 14.0-14.5 a try, just cuz I have to know.

Good for you! Let's all find out together. If 12.5 works as well as 14.0, why would you waste the powder...?
