Catherine, back when I played in a country band we played a lot of instrumentals. I played the lead and played many of the songs you have listed here. I was in our front room this morning playing my Mosrite Ventures model guitar and tried to play many of those. I am so out of practice.

I am not talented when it comes to playing instruments and I only took piano lessons for a short time.

I love music or most music. (I detest gangsta music aka gang rap.)

My late husband could remember where he was (In or out of the military and in a non .gov job too.) and what he was doing when he heard some song. He was good with lyrics too. I usually remembered the beat of it and most but NOT all of the lyrics if there were any.

There are several people on this forum who played in bands and/or are talented in music even if they never played professionally.

I think that MUSIC makes the world go around. I saw THIS thread and the other musical thread and played a bunch of music online while I was reading my national and overseas news today.
