Case trimming

I have not ever trimmed 45 acp or 9mm brass. I havent ever found any that would stretch to the point of needing it. I do however becasue I have so much of both check lengths of them. If there is a big variance of length I use the brass that is all close to the same length to load. However many Im going to load at the time. I seldom load 9mm anymore anyway as the price of it is reasonable enough to buy it.

Just keep in mind the pistol caliber FCDs are a different animal.

My .357 FCD IS a colllet style - just like for rifle. Wish I had 'discovered' it sooner!

The higher pressure loads stretch brass much faster than Lower pressure loads.

Some Black powder cartridge shooters never trim or even resize their cases.

I don't own a 9 mm but I do load .45 A.C.P. for four handguns. I use a case length gauge to see if the cases are within spec.
