One of my favorite genres of music is gypsy jazz, so, of course, how could I not pick Django Reinhardt? He was widely admired by many of the guitarists mentioned, so far. Amazing musician and equally amazing life story. If you're not familiar with this one, well worth looking up.

Though I agree with most, if not all, of the choices, I think Joe Satriani and Yngwe Malmsteen have a place in there too.

I was blessed to see Andres Segovia in a classical concert series when I was in college, more than 40 years ago -- truly a virtuoso.
There are some great players listed above in the thread -- I have also enjoyed Jeff Beck over the years.

There are truly to many great guitarist to just name a few. Doyle Dykes is also an amazing guitarist.
There are a great many who play guitar here. I would imagine that we cover about all types of music. I play traditional country music. I have just gotten home from seeing a Gene Watson concert last night. The best pure singer I have ever heard. It was a great concert.

BTW, a few back I had an opportunity to play an accordian. I thought I could handle it; I even have a Wurlitzer mini theatre organ ( 3 man) which I thought kept you "busy".
Well imagine playing a small piano on it's side while you move it back and forth, and you get the idea.
