PSA - A couple things to think about when carrying concealed

A comment on modified pistols… don’t carry your most favorite gun that you would be heartbroken to lose if it were confiscated as evidence.

As I age, my hands don’t work so well (low grip strength). I now carry a great big CZ P10 F 9mm with optic and light. It has a very long grip and I can rack the slide easily using the red dot. It is in a Tommy’s Gunpack hanging in front of my left hip. Not the greatest for speed but I have carried this way for 25 years and it is very natural for me, and super comfy while driving or sitting.

If I lose the CZ, I won’t be heartbroken.

I don't own a gun I wouldn't mind having taken for evidence if it meant it did it's job and saved the life of someone I care about, or myself.

But I take your meaning. I look at carry guns as tools. They are going to get beat up through training use, handling and carrying. It's what they are.

Yup, I wouldn't carry my match guns. The only modifications to my EDC guns are grips or night sights.

I carried openly this morning. 2 guns actually. My Glock 34 MOS, and an evil black rifle. Not a single complaint, or second glance, even when I started shooting the rifle ( .22mag RPR, shooting Hornady 30grn V-Max). Might be because I was firing at a target in my backyard about 35 yds away.



Been about a year, so figured I should exercise it some and check zero. I'll probably set up for 100yds tomorrow if the weather cooperates, and run some CCI 40grn Gamepoint also.
