I liked him before he cheated. That kind of deflated my respect for him.PJM wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 8:53 amHe is not nimble but nobody but nobody better at reading disguised defensive schemes, finding secondary receivers coupled with a quick release. To you haters, get over it. Most of haters would have loved him on their teams. If his of line can protect him, most times he will have you for lunch. Enjoy his ability for the little time he has left. Hopefully he goes out at his best.

Re: Super Bowl
Brady was fortunate to have good teams around him. There are some other QB’s that were in the league that weren’t exactly second to Brady given the same scenario.

Re: Super Bowl
It wouldn't surprise me, Hell they could probably give either a good run for their money.
I'll take Brady & company, but I'll not be watchin.

Re: Super Bowl
Oh come on, he just beat two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL to get to this Super Bowl.

That is my problem with him! Kinda like Sean Payton, coach of the Saints, for his bounty to hurt players.

Hey All,
Brady all the way.
In sports the only thing that matters is - championships - from the only perspective that matters - history. That is why for example Tiger Woods can never be considered as great as Jack Nicklaus (unless he surpasses Jack's record) - majors are what history will remember. The perspectives of those who saw them play will only matter to those who saw them play. The people of the future will only see the championships - this is as it should be. Both Tom and Jack may be surpassed someday - we shall or shall not see.
Enjoy the game!!

Re: Super Bowl
No, not comparing, just simply a matter of playing by the rules and not attempting to cheat. A result of temperature would not raise as many eyebrows as it did, so much as to coin the name ' Deflate Gate '
I know Brady is a great Quarterback, He has proven that!
May the best TEAM win.

Re: Super Bowl
If T B wins this game, it will be because of their defense, not Brady.

Hey All,
I'll call it now with 5 mins to go...
Looks like Tom Brady the GOAT (an Gronk) reign supreme again. Great job by the Bucs D.
Congrats Bucs!

They made the Chiefs look silly. Yikes.

Re: Super Bowl
I wouldn't say they looked silly, but they did look outmatched. Tampa's D kept Mahomes on the run & off the field, plus a couple of weak calls by the refs.
I do believe that was the longest half time show on record. I never watch it. Too much bs.

I don’t know what it will take for the naysayers to finally admit the Tom Brady is the G.O.A.T

Re: Super Bowl
No, the Refs made them look silly. 3 To 4 calls near the end of the 2nd half were BS. I knew, before the game even started that they were going to make Brady a god. Now I cannot stand him even more!
Have been an avid NFL fan all my life. There is no way, a team with the talent of KC gets beaten that bad without some ref help, or money exchanged!!
To Brady fans...think about it. This is coming from a Panthers fan.

Re: Super Bowl
As I said, have been an NFL fan all my life. Always rooted for the team or teams closest to where I lived at the time.
Was born in Texas, and grew up as a Cowboy fan. Then moved to New Jersey and was a Giants fan. Then moved to Chicago and became a Bears fan, ( was at the '85 Super Bowl win ). Then moved back to NJ and was at the '86 Giants Super Bowl win. Then transferred to CA and became a Rams fan. Then moved to Cincinnati and became a Bengals fan. Then moved to North Carolina and have been a Panthers fan ever since. I show loyalty to the team closest to where I live. Just think that's the way it oughta be.
So tonite, I really don't care who won... just calling it as I saw it.
The media and news need for the outcome as it was. They need material.

Well...Ya know what they say about opinions....PJM wrote: ↑Sun Feb 07, 2021 11:15 pmI am not sure they needed any help. Ref calls were not an issue in this game. They took some unnecessary and stupid penalties and were beaten on both sides of the ball. They were outplayed period. As for Tom Brady, he was steady and consistent. He brought the win attitude, work ethic, discipline, and confidence to that team on day 1. I have never heard one teammate disrespect him on the Patriots even after they retired.
