Funny thing, I have attended shooter's choice off duty matches where the shooter chose the gun to shoot the course of fire. It was set up so five shot snubbies only disadvantage was the short barrel and poor sights, but with it being an off duty match all the stages were down and dirty. ( Three to ten yards, multiple targets. )

Revolvers did as well as semis, the old guys as well as the young, often the "seasoned" shooters winning. (More often, than not.)
