I need to apologize for not responding the last 2 weeks. This COVID-19 is brutal. Haven’t had enough energy to do anything, headache, no appetite, no sense of taste. Finally have enough energy to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers, it is much so very much appreciated. Thanks a million to everyone. To the people who think COVID is a farce it is not, believe me it is
not.

PS JEBar: Thanks for the thoughtful message :)

Happy to hear you’re feeling a bit better but sorry you were so sick. My son and D-I-L both had it and other that the no taste/smell issue they had no problem and got over that fast. I just shared your story with my wife and we agree we will do what we can to avoid getting it. Your story helps confirm our need to be careful.

Glad to read you're on the mend brm. Have a friend in Idaho who got that stuff and it knocked him back pretty good for about a week.
And I agree with CT about wearing a mask and going anywhere. Take care brm.

I heard my neighbor, a close friend from way back, blowing leaves up on his driveway through the woods, so I walked up to visit.
He told me that he was recovering from Covid, but not to worry because the Mayo said he was clear of it now.
Seems he was down south of Rochester, Mn. last Saturday doing some work and had a little cough. He figured he had a cold but wanted to be
sure it wasn't Covid before he went back to his business on Monday. The Mayo Clinic in Rochester was giving free Covid tests in a park in the
city so he went through the drive through test. They notified him on Sunday that he tested positive.
He self quarantined at home for a week even though the Mayo said 6 days would be enough.
Said he had a slight fever one day and the cough went away. He was feeling great when I say him yesterday.
He called the Mayo and asked to be retested to see if he was clear and they said it would be a waste of time. In their experience if he
was clear for 3 or 4 days he would test negative.
His wife never got it from him. Well, not yet anyway.

After 14 days of quarantine I believe I’m on the mend back to 85-90%, still can’t smell or taste. Headache and general weakness gone and no cough or fever. I’ve been worried about wife but in last couple of days I believe she’s turned the corner and is improving. I want to thank those members who have sent their best wishes and prayers, this forum has the greatest people.
